Within ten (10) days after your wedding ceremony, the Marriage License should be recorded in the Mariposa County Recorder's Office. To receive a certified copy you must obtain the request form for the type of marriage license that you purchased. Complete the form as required and send the form with $14 for each certified copy desired.

Application for Certified copy of a Public Marriage Certificate is filed in the Mariposa Recorder's Office.

Application for Certified copy of a Confidential Marriage Certificate is filed in the Mariposa County Clerk's Office.
